bridging threshold

It was a great night, even the food were plain and simple.

Stop and rewind. Learning about how work redefines spoon as a knife, and vice versa. Terrance's declaration and immense pride that he is earlier than Dominic, but still 5 minutes later than 1900hrs. The recount which traces all the way back to Rachel. The 'what ifs'. The seemingly support from Dominic for my cause, with the phrase 'I thought' which was unfortunately punctuated with a 'BUT'.

I can see where we are going.

In the attempt to save others from crashing and watch them burn, you have found yourself being crushed by the burden of expectations and circumstances. Are you propelled, or are willing? Is it sentimentalism at play, or a heart of courage at work? You are two steps away from heaven - or hell, depending which step you choose to take.

The final threshold, the bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn.

T: "Hey how about Queenstown? Let's eat the Katong Laksa there!"
S: "Urm how to get there?"
Terrance: "I don't know how to get there. I only know how to eat."

-

T: "Since we are so near to Malaysia, hey shall we go to JB and eat instead?"

-

T: "How about Ikea?"
S: "I'm fine with it."
D: "Okay lor."
T: "Eh but since we are at Queenstown. . . ."
S (interrupts): "Shut up Terrance. We shall meet at Queenstown then we decide."

-

T: "I end at 6pm tomorrow, so let's meet at 6.30pm?"
S: "7pm. I don't trust you."
T: "Come on guys I will not take an hour to travel !"
D: "Right. . ."
